1. OVERVIEW

At thepetmarkets.com, we want you and your pet to be completely satisfied with every purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

This Refund Policy applies to all products purchased from thepetmarkets.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. RETURN PERIOD

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return and send your item back to us.

After 30 days from delivery, we will no longer accept returns.

3. RETURN CONDITIONS

To be eligible for a return and refund, all items must meet the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original condition.

  • The item must be in its original packaging with all tags and accessories intact.

  • The item must be accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase (order number/email).

4. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns for the following items:

  • Food, treats, and supplements (unless your pet refuses to eat it within 14 days, with at least 75% of the product remaining)

  • Grooming products and personal care items (shampoos, conditioners, sprays)

  • Medications, prescription food, and veterinary products

  • Opened or used toys or accessories

  • Gift cards and final sale/clearance items

  • Personalized or custom-made items

5. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

  1. Contact us before sending any item back. Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

  2. Provide your order number, reason for return, and (for quality issues) clear photos of the item.

  3. We will respond within 24 hours (excluding weekends) with return authorization and instructions.

  4. You must send the return within 7-10 working days of receiving authorization.

  5. Please provide us with a tracking number once you have shipped the item.

6. REFUND PROCESS

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 3-7 business days.

  • Refunds are issued to the original method of payment used at checkout.

  • Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

7. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you have not received your refund after 7 business days from approval:

  1. Check your bank account again.

  2. Contact your credit card company or bank (there is often a processing delay).

  3. If you’ve done both and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us.

8. RETURNS DUE TO OUR ERROR (Quality Issues / Wrong Item)

If the return is due to a product quality issue, wrong item sent, or lost during transportation, we take full responsibility for:

  • The cost of return shipping

  • The cost of replacement shipping

  • No restocking or handling fees

Please include clear photos of the issue when you contact us.

9. EXCHANGES

If you received a damaged or defective item, we are happy to exchange it for a new one. Please contact us within 30 days of receiving your product to begin the process.

10. FINAL SALE ITEMS

Items marked as “Final Sale”“Clearance”, or “Sale” cannot be returned or refunded.

11. CANCELLATIONS

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it. If the order has not yet shipped, we will issue a full refund. If the order has shipped, it will be treated as a standard return.
